This section of the user guide provides a description of the workflow - the recommended order in which you should try to build a new movie project.


DETAILS

1. Open Screenplay.

2. Open and name a NEW PROJECT, or LOAD an existing project.

3. Create a Scene, or click on the SCRIPT WINDOW tag for the Scene you wish to work with. If you wish rename the scene.

4. Write your scene, with Location, Action and Description, Characters and Dialogue.

5. SAVE.

6. Create AUDIO.

7. Space out the audio on the timeline to anticipate the pacing.

8. Add pictures to the IMAGE tracks from images (.jpeg) you have imported to the MEDIA LIBRARY.

9. Add music or effects to the free AUDIO track, from audio (.wav) files you have imported to the MEDIA LIBRARY.

10. SAVE.

11. Open the MEDIA PLAYER and play.

12. Close the MEDIA PLAYER to continue working on your scene or to build another scene.

13. Revise SCENE - repeating steps 4-12.

14. When you are happy with the Scene, SAVE the Project and also SAVE the Project under a new name. (This enables you to return to any stage of a project's development later.)

15. Using the DETAIL windows you can add and save notes at any time, while you are working.

16. Continue working, create more scenes....
