BPC-SCREENPLAY FOR COMMERCIALS, CORPORATE PRODUCTION AND INDUSTRIAL VIDEOS.

When Production Companies, Agencies and Clients work towards a tv commercial, or corporate production, a lot of people become engaged in the development process, both creatively and in approving the proposals. This can involve a lot of management time, bringing people together in meetings or video conferences, in addition to the efforts of all the people directly linked to the creative process.

BPC-Screenplay has been conceived to ease this workload, limit delays and reduce the risk of costly reshoots, by allowing everyone involved to share project files and see precisely how the proposed production will look and feel.

By sharing the project with marketing departments, corporate managers, lawyers and technical specialists, a well-crafted BPC-Screenplay project will be much more informative than a traditional script and storyboard. They can either create a 'reader's report', or work on revisions within the project in their own version (save as), before returning it to the project manager.

For industrial clients, with complex technologies, or organisational activities to demonstrate, a BPC-Screenplay project will give specialists precise access to the production being planned, highlighting the economy of language required to describe their technologies, integrating digital photographs to point out exactly which parts of a machine, or process are important and to weigh the balance of emphasis within a production covering several themes.

In meetings, a writer and graphic designer can use BPC-Screenplay to incorporate new ideas, updated graphics and amendments, as they arise in discussion. When a project has been saved and the media player opened, the users can close the timeline, script and media library windows to present the animatic via a projector, or video conference.

As the project moves forward, improved versions can be distributed in a controlled process of development.

All that is required is that everyone involved installs BPC-Screenplay under the same path in their computers, so that the image library, project folder and the project xml file are correctly configured for each user.

For TV-Commercials, it should be possible to share all the project data by email. Longer projects should be made available on CD-ROM/DVD, or by online upload and download, though if the images have been configured correctly even a full length cinema film should not require more than a gigabyte.

Production Companies and Agencies requiring multi-user licence agreements should contact us by email: contact@berlinpicturecompany.com
